Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Pharmacy awaits to welcome its new students in the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester. Established in the 2011-2012 Academic Year, EMU Faculty of Pharmacy offers study opportunities through B.Pharm. program consisting of 10 semesters and Pharm.D. program consisting of 12 semesters. EMU Faculty of Pharmacy brings up qualified pharmacists and scientists who understand the principles and ethics of the pharmacy profession, are equipped with high-level international skills to provide first-line health counseling in public health, and have the ability to follow the latest scientific and technological developments in the profession. EMU Faculty of Pharmacy contributes to scientific research in the field of pharmacy at a global and regional level through using the information obtained for the benefit of society through pharmacy services. EMU Faculty of Pharmacy, which provides its students with the knowledge necessary to work in the international pharmaceutical industry and other branches of the profession, is among the best and respected Pharmacy faculties in the region with its quality academic staff and high-tech laboratories.
Study and Internship Opportunities Abroad
Having become an academic member of the “International Pharmaceutical Federation” (FIP), the most important international organization in the field of pharmacy, in 2012, EMU Faculty of Pharmacy is the first faculty in Cyprus to become a member of FIP and the second faculty among the Faculties of Pharmacy in Turkey. EMU Faculty of Pharmacy, represented in the International Pharmacy Students Federation (IPSF), provides its students with the opportunity to gain pharmacy experience in different countries and to do internships abroad through the student exchange program (SEP). At the same time, through this program, Faculty of Pharmacy students from all over the world come to EMU Faculty of Pharmacy.
Laboratories Equipped with the Latest Technology
The faculty hosts student laboratories equipped with the latest technological and educational infrastructure required for pharmaceutical sciences such as HPLC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV spectrophotometer, laminar flow, microwave reactor, tablet machine, dissolution device, granulator, homogenizer, viscometer, stabilized climate cabinet, incubators, particle size analyzer, powder mixer, grinder, water baths, microscopes, etc. While all laboratories have smart boards, a "Garden of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants" was established in front of the faculty building for Pharmaceutical Botany and Pharmacognosy studies. Despite its new establishment, EMU Faculty of Pharmacy has published approximately 50 scientific articles in famous journals covered by the Science Citation Index (SCI).

Pharmacy is a discipline that serves public health and is also included in the preventive health service group. Due to the fact that it contains many disciplines, the title of Pharmacist is obtained as a result of a multidisciplinary education. For this reason, it offers a wide range of knowledge and areas of work.
