Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) International Student Activity and Student Societies Unit organized an appreciation night for the Presidents of EMU International Student Societies and the Board Members in recognition of their achievements during the 2022-2023 Academic Year. The event took place on Thursday, 22 June, 2023, at 19:00 at EMU Beach Club. EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu, also attended the event.

"We Thank You"

Cemre Mühendisoğlu from EMU International Student Activity and Student Societies Unit delivered the opening speech, expressing gratitude to the Presidents of EMU International Student Societies, Board Members, and Representatives for their organized activities, demonstrated leadership, and the importance they showed to their societies throughout the year. Mühendisoğlu also thanked those who performed at the International Night held in May and conveyed their excitement for the upcoming academic year.

"Proud to be an International University"

Speaking at the ceremony, EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu, thanked all society presidents and board members for their support, saying, "We are always proud to be an international university with you. I wish you success in your exams and in your lives." Prof. Dr. İşçioğlu wished all participants a wonderful evening. Following the speech, Mühendisoğlu presented flowers to Prof. Dr. İşçioğlu.

MC Shana and MC Ennur Karabulut were presenters during the evening. The participants enjoyed music-filled moments and had a great time with the performances of DJ Dmask and DJ Jasonthabass throughout the night. The attendees also did not miss the opportunity to take commemorative photos in front of a banner with the words "Thank you" written in the languages of their respective countries.

Furthermore, certificates were presented to those who performed at the International Night held in May.
