EMU Swap & Save 2: Building a Sustainable Campus Culture - Fall 2025-2026

On 25 December, the EMU SDGs Club, in collaboration with ARCH320 university elective students, successfully organized the second EMU Swap & Save event, hosted by the Department of Architecture as part of its New Year celebration. The initiative brought students together to promote reuse, smart consumption, and circular practices in a practical and engaging way.

Participants were encouraged to bring items they no longer needed and exchange them with others, transforming sharing into meaningful action. Through this hands-on experience, students actively contributed to waste reduction while gaining insight into how everyday choices can support sustainability and responsible consumption.

The event fostered recycling and reuse practices across campus in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
